When will my order be shipped?
We aim to despatch all orders within 1 - 2 business days of them being placed. Please see your email inbox for updates and notifications related to your order.
For standard shipping, please allow up to 2 - 8 business days for your order to arrive from despatch. For express shipping, please allow up to 1 - 4 business days.
What is melanin production?
Production of melanin, or melanogenesis, is the process that occurs in your skin, where the pigment of your skin darkens creating the appearance of tanned skin. Melanin is a naturally occurring pigment which is responsible for your skin colour and also may act as a natural protectant against sun exposure. Generally speaking, those with higher natural melanin levels, may find it easier to tan, and may be more resistant to UV exposure.
How does it work?
The BB solution utilizes biomimetic technology for impressive tanning outcomes. Melanin production in the body involves converting the amino acid Tyrosine through the enzyme Tyrosinase. Our formula is created to optimize the bioavailability of the Tyrosinase enzyme and Tyrosine amino acid, key elements for melanogenesis (melanin production). By enhancing the concentration of these compounds in the skin, melanin production is intensified, leading to a faster and more prominent natural tan.
Typically, alpha-MSH regulates this process, promoting skin darkening. However, our formula enhances melanogenesis even when alpha-MSH levels are low, helping fair-skinned individuals achieve a natural tan.
Our formula does not include alpha-MSH. Instead, it promotes an improved melanogenesis process separate from this hormone.
Our solution is expertly designed to be absorbed efficiently by the nasal membrane and sublingual glands. The size of the molecules in our solution allows them to easily pass through these membranes. These properties facilitate efficient absorption, ensuring effective delivery of the solution to its target and its transformative effects.

When will I see results?
Results will vary from skin type to skin type, hence this will be dependent on the person. Fairer skin types with lower natural levels of melanin may need more time to see results. Individuals with higher melanin levels may take less time to see results. Some people may see results in as little as a week, while others may take a few weeks to see a noticeable difference. The key is to be patient and consistent with your usage.
Can I use in solarium/sunbeds?
BB is perfectly fine for solarium & sunbed use. However, please be cautious with high concentrations of UV light. Our products do not project against harmful UV rays.
Do I need sun exposure for it to work?
BB is designed to stimulate the production of melanin in the body, which is the pigment that gives our skin colour. While the sun will help to accelerate the effects of the product, you don’t need it to work. We recommend getting an average of 15-30 minutes of sun daily which is the estimated sun exposure required for healthy vitamin D levels and will be more than enough for you to achieve great results.
How long will my tan last?
BB products help with your natural tan. The tan you achieve from the use of our products will fade like a normal tan.
